The Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center (TEC) offers over 20 high demand career programs in a state of the art 130,000 square feet complex. The TEC offers hands-on technical skill training programs during the day which lead to certificates and employment in office and computer technology, service and health occupations, or trade and industrial fields. TEC curriculum is aligned with business and industry standards. Advanced students may participate in work-based learning experiences or internships. Leadership skills are also developed through opportunities with national student organizations.
